WHO WE ARE
NCK Consulting LLC was established by Nihat Can Koseoglu in the State of Qatar. He is a Materials Engineer with two post-graduate degrees; one in Material Science & Engineering and the other in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management. He studied in reputable universities in Turkey, Finland and England. After working as a Research Scientist on Biomaterials for the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, he joined construction sector in a large-scale oil & gas project in Oman. He has spent 15 years of his career as a Contracts & Commercial Manager in international mega projects such as power plants, water desalination plants, oil & gas pipelines, and metro projects in Oman, Turkey, UAE and Qatar. He has been in charge of contractual and commercial aspects of dozens of infrastructure projects ranging from $10 million up to over $3 billion in value. He has a strong background in construction claims, contract law, commercial management, project management and dispute resolution.
Nihat is a Certified Carbon Management Leader (CCML™), Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM).
In recent years, he has leveraged his experience and academic background, working on environmental issues and climate-change related projects. He has worked with Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Research Institute on several consultancy projects on Climate Change, NDC enhancements and Carbon Credits Mechanisms. He continues to work with a team of globally recognized experts in this area, attending to international climate conferences as part of official delegation and working actively on supporting policies to tackle climate-change related challenges on a national level.
